Isla Sorna, Isla Matanceros, Isla Pena, Isla Tacano and Isla Muerta, situated 200 miles west of Costa Rica, are the five islands of the Muertes Archipelago, discovered in 1526. Their names are from a Native American myth about a warrior choosing a different manner of death on each of the five islands: burning, drowning, crushing, hanging and beheading.
«Las Cinco Muertes?
- What does that mean?
- The Five Deaths.» - Nick Van Owen
